Dr. Riordan is a practicing optometrist who’s spent over a decade treating women with dry eyes. She saw a gap in the market for safe, high-performance eye makeup — so she created it. This water-resistant tubing mascara delivers lift, length, and definition without harsh chemicals, nylon fibers, or cancer-causing ingredients. It’s been clinically and ocularly tested to ensure it’s gentle enough for daily wear, and it removes easily with warm water.

Every ingredient in our formula was chosen with your eye health in mind.
- Advanced preservative system – made with caprylhydroxamic acid, 1,2-hexanediol, and propanediol to protect against bacteria, yeast, and mold without traditional irritants.
- Provitamin B5 (Panthenol) – improves lash strength and flexibility.
- Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 – helps anchor lashes, reduce fallout, and support a fuller appearance.
- Glycerin + Water – draw moisture to lashes to keep them soft and conditioned.
- Biotin (Vitamin B7) – nourishes lashes and promotes strength (not a lash growth serum).
Application Tips from Dr. Riordan
- Curl your lashes first.
- Apply mascara starting about 1–2 mm above the lash base (avoiding the root helps reduce irritation and makes removal easier).
- Use one coat for a natural look or build multiple coats for extra drama.
- If mascara transfers onto skin, use a damp cotton swab to gently remove.
Removal:
Let warm water run over closed eyes, then gently wipe away with fingertips or a microfiber cloth. No harsh rubbing. No chemicals.
From Exam Room to Beauty Counter
As an optometrist since 2010, Dr. Kim Riordan has cared for countless women suffering from dry eyes. She discovered a common thread: many of their cosmetics were contributing to their discomfort, but telling patients to give up makeup wasn’t the answer.
In 2022, she set out to create a mascara that balanced health, safety, and performance. After three years and four formulations, Ev’r Beauty Clean Lash Mascara was born — made in the USA with clean, clinically tested ingredients that don’t compromise on wear.
Her mission: to build a line of eye makeup and skincare that women can trust, allowing them to look and feel beautiful without sacrificing comfort or eye health.
A Legacy in Every Lash
DAB Cosmetics is named for Dr. Riordan’s grandmother’s last name, a woman who was both gentle and strong, and who helped raise her. Ev’r Beauty comes from her grandmother’s first name, Evelyn, who often went by “Ev.” These names carry family, heritage, and heart into every product.
Dr. Riordan treats her patients like family, and she extends that same care to every Ev’r Beauty customer, one mascara at a time.
Healthy Lash Care Tips
- Replace Regularly: Most mascaras are good for up to 6 months, but we recommend replacing every 3 months to avoid irritation or infection. Write the date you open it on the bottle as a reminder.
- Don’t Share: Mascara is personal. Sharing can spread bacteria (or even tiny mites) from one person to another.
- Stay Safe: If you have any signs of eye infection, stop using mascara and replace all products used before the infection. When in doubt, throw it out and check with your eye doctor.
- Remove Before Bed: Never sleep in mascara or eye makeup — give your eyes time to rest and recover.
